Unfortunately it is not possible to use the BNESIM eSIM to make calls and send or receive SMS. However, you can utilize the eSIM’s mobile data to continue using instant messaging apps like WhatsApp or iMessage. Alternatively, you can opt for our master app – Virtual SIM by BNESIM – where you can purchase minutes to make and receive international calls, free from roaming charges.
To top up your eSIM, simply download the BNESIM eSIM app, navigate to the “My eSIMs” section, choose the eSIM you want to recharge, select the desired country for data, choose your preferred data plan, and you’re all set.
Your data plan starts as soon as it’s purchased. However, you can schedule the activation of your eSIM and choose the day you want your data plan to begin. Once the eSIM is installed on your device, it will start working as soon as it connects to a local network. This usually happens within a minute, depending on network availability in your area.
